Alexis

I was so happy to photograph this little cutie! She arrived in a such a happy mood, and was awake for the entire session. She was so alert, and let me position her however I wanted without any objection. Her big brother Brandon came along, and was so patient while I took pictures of Alexis. I will be photographing her family in a couple weeks, and I'm sure she will have already changed by then. I am looking forward to meeting her dad and her other big brother. I am so happy to be capturing her first year of life, and really look forward to our future sessions.

Just blogging....

I returned last night from a 3 day photography conference. It was a great as I expected it to be, and more! It was hard to leave the family for the weekend, but it was so worth it. I have met a great bunch of photographers from these conferences, and it's always great to catch up with them at the next conference to see what everyone is up to. The photographers that have been in the business for a long time are always willing to give tips and advice, which is absolutely amazing. I came away with more great ideas and advice from the pros that have been in the business for over 20 years, and I am excited to get some new ideas going... now if they could have just told me how to come up with some extra time! :)

Natalie's 1 year session

I've had so much fun photographing Natalie over the past year! She always has so many cute expressions, that I find it difficult to narrow down her pictures when I am proofing them out. She was in such a good mood for her 1 year session, and she loved getting cozy on the fur rug. I am SO looking forward to seeing her and her parents again for her 18 month session. Happy 1st birthday cutie!

Happy New Year

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's! We survived our trip to Colorado, and the drive went surprisingly smooth. It was great to get a little break from laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. My husband and I even got a night out without the kids! Sadly, I can't remember the last time that happened. I dragged him to see 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' (and not just because Brad Pitt is in it, I promise! :)) It was a great movie!

At the present time, my husband is setting up my new computer, which seems to be taking forever since I need to transfer SO much over to it. I managed to get the Valentine Special posted, so check that out on the site if you are interested.

Unfortunately, due to my lab increasing their minimum order amounts, I am no longer doing printed proofs. I will hopefully have that updated soon on the website. They are available for purchase if you would like to have them. Also, in the past I have been lenient with ordering deadlines, but do to my schedule becoming so hectic, I am going to have to start inforcing the 10 day ordering deadline. More information regarding that will be given to you when you book your next session.
